Founder / Managing Director

Joris is founder and Managing Director of the company. After studying Maritime Management in Rotterdam Joris started his career in shipping in 1993 with Seatrade Reefer Chartering in Antwerp. Having worked with Seatrade for 7 years as Vessel Operator, Line Manager and Trade Manager end responsible for Seatrade's activities in Brasil and Suriname Joris left Seatrade in the year 2000 to become one of the founding partners of GoReefers Group of companies and in 2001 started West Africa Logistics, a company active in liner service to West Africa which later was renamed to Breadbox Shipping Lines.

Barry Lupker / Senior Trade Manager

Senior Trade Manager

Barry has 21 years of experience in the shipping industry starting off as a deck officer on coastal vessel thereafter active in agency, stevedoring and dry cargo chartering running a liner service between Latvia and Flushing. In July 2004 Barry joined Breadbox and has been active as line manager of our NWC-WAF liner service since. Early 2007 Breadbox initiated the Monrovia service which is presently managed by Barry as well.

Peter joined Breadbox in December 2011. After completing his study Maritime Management in Rotterdam, Peter worked for a period of 6 years as a vessel operator with Seatrade Reefer Chartering in Antwerp and thereafter 3 years operations with Jumbo Shipping. Within the MPP team at Breadbox Shipping Lines Peter is the responsible Line Manager for the MPP Iberia and MPP East Med Service.

Line Manager Europe-West Africa Service

Yusuf holds a Business Administration degree (BSc) from the University of Bath and a Master's degree in Maritime Economics and Logistics (MSc) from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. Yusuf completed his studies just before joining Breadbox Shipping Lines in October 2012 as a (junior) vessel operator. After 2 years of performing vessel operations on our MPP desk, Yusuf became the Line Manager of our recently (September 2015) started Europe-West Africa Parcel Service. Focusing on project and H/L parcels to West Africa.

William Douni / Line Manager Inter Africa Service

William Douni

Line Manager Inter Africa Service

William studied law in Douala there after he studied Supply chain management in Pretoria and did his master in Maritime Economics and Logistics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. After his study William worked for a forwarding company in Holland. William is now joining our Breadbox team.

Vessel Operator

After completing his study as Maritime Officer Limited Marco started his career as a deck officer on coasters in 2003 and made the step to the offshore and tugs in 2010. In 2008 he followed a study Maritime Officer in order to get he is certificate of competence for Master without Limitations. In 2013 het started as vessel operator for container vessels with NileDutch Africa Line and as from July of 2016 he joined our Breadbox team.

Apostolos Dedousis / Vessel Operator

Apostolos holds his Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and his Master's degree (MSc) in Maritime Economics & Logistics from Erasmus University Rotterdam. He joined our Breadbox Team in September 2016 and has been performing vessel operations for our MPP desk.

Amer Butt

Business Controller

Amer joined the company in 2005. After years of working as general bookkeeper Amer became as from 2016 responsible for the groups Business Control and Management reporting.

Ronald Leunis / Financial Controller

Ronald Leunis

Financial Controller

Ronald joined the company only in March 2014, after working for more than 20 years at Wartsila. With his experience, Ronald is responsible of HRM and the general administration of Breadbox.

Ethlyne Clemensia / Accounts Receivable

Ethlyne Clemensia

Accounts Receivable

Ethlyne joined Breadbox in 2002 and has been active in various activities of the company. Initially Ethlyne started at the finance department, later became active for the documentation department as well as our secretarial desk. As from 2016 Ethlyne shifted back to our finance department taking care of our accounts receivable.

Willy van der Zanden / Financial Administrator

Financial Administrator

Willy joined the company in July 2016. Before that he worked for more than 12 years at Dexia Netherlands as a cash management employee. As of 2010 he made the transition to accounts payable. Willy is now working as financial administrator.

Procurement (Dakar)

Hans joined the company to assist the TSI of the Breadbox Fleet with the purchasing of the ship spares. After working in Schiedam for 2.5 years, he was relocated to Dakar, Senegal.

Secretarial Desk

Renate van Kesteren / Office Manager

Renate van Kesteren

Office Manager

In June 2012 Renate joined the company after working in the travel industry for 10 years. Within Breadbox Renate is taking care of office management.
