What cargoes do we ship?
As an operator with a versatile fleet, we ship a wide variety of cargoes that are traded to and from the African continent such as project cargoes, agribulk, IMDG as well as reefer cargo.
Project cargo
You need to move heavy or oversized cargo into ports that are not built for easy handling. We get that. With geared vessels and crews who know Africa inside out, your project cargo arrives safely, even when infrastructure is limited.
Agribulk
Whether it’s wheatbranpallets outbound or Malt inbound, Breadbox vessels are all grainfitted and suitable to handle any kind of agribulk products.
IMO cargo
Transporting dangerous goods to Africa? You need a partner who takes compliance seriously. For many years, Breadbox has been shipping IMO 5.1 as well as Class 1 parcels to Africa. We follow the IMDG-Code without compromising, our checklists are followed to the detail to ensure safe transport to its destination.
Reefer cargo
For 25 years, Breadbox has been shipping potatoes and onions from Flushing to West Africa on specialised reefer vessels. Over 3,000,000 tons of fresh produce has been transported at the right temperature, to ensure fresh arrivals on the African markets. This is our core trade from day one of the company. Every season we are proud to be a part of this special trade with our clients and partners in West Africa.
